Halo Infinite is changing the controversial armor system

Halo Infinite is getting rid of its controversial armor core system _ Infinite_ will move away from its armor nucleus system that governs what customizations could be equipped at different armor bases, the 343 industries developer said this week. The change was announced during a recent live broadcast in which developers gave a preview of what will come in season 2. Through this change, players can use different coatings and other customization pieces in different nuclei without One is blocked in a set of armor, but 343 said that this will be a gradual change that will not be completely implemented at the beginning of season 2.

Jerry Hook, the Chief of Design of halo Infinito, talked about the plans for the central game system in season 2 in the following video. Hook acknowledged that the infinite_ had lost the brand by capturing the force of the customizations of mixing and combining that they are in games like aurela 3 and halo reach before exposing the plans for the next season.

"Then, if you did not understand our blog the last time, we are looking to get away from the central system, and what that means for season 2 is that you will begin to specifically see what I call‘ nuclei in the canon, '"said Hook.. "So, that means your spartan v a vii, you know, whatever we are doing for infinito in a canonical perspective."

Hook continued to say that the goal was to make these customizations more versatile, regardless of the armor nucleus used.

"Then, if you get a coating, it can be used in all those nuclei, or if you get a piece of shoulder, it can be used in all those nuclei," said Hook. «And our approach to season 2, not from day one, but as we advance in season 2, is that their visors, their helmets, their coatings, those will be the first things we pursue, and then slowly [be] trying to move everything to make it more ubiquitous ».

Initially, the approach will also be in the "canonical nuclei" that Hook mentioned before, so not in the fracture nuclei since they have "fundamentally different structures."

Halo Infinito Season 2 will begin on May 3, so seek these changes and more that will be implemented at that time.
