Ken Kutaragi, creator of the PlayStation, is not a fan of metaverse
Ken Outrage, The legendary creator of PlayStation , has shared your opinion about the headsets of virtual reality and metaverse as part of a recent interview with Bloomberg . The inventor of PS3, PS2, and PS1 says that he is not a fan of the devices VR because you isolate you from the real world, so he is definitely not interested in knowing more about PSVR2.
Outrage also pronounced on metaverse, something that he does not like it too much. The 71-year-old Japanese says he simply does not understand what is the point of this concept:
To begin with, the Headsets in VR are quite annoying.
In serious people prefer to have a good avatar instead of a good personality? Essentially, that is not very different from the anonymous message forums.
At present, Outrage is served as Executive Director for Ascent Robotics, a company that seeks to combine the real world with cyberspace without the need to have some accessory, similar to the holograms of Star Wars . The goal of it is create smarter and versatile robots who can perform different tasks and produce more than one type of product. Ascent products are directed for retail and logistics.
Editor's note: Outrage has very interesting points, and he agreed that perhaps the concept of the metaverse is coming out of control. I mean, the NFTs generate a lot of money today, but it is still a fairly risky business model, particularly for those who are not very familiar with all this.
