If you press the button again, the second set of boxes is exchanged for an option to select a gesture. This creates a spooky version of them about the message when other players see them and let them run the selected gesture.

To get both the longer message and a gesture, you must press the key a third time. This will display both the second set of spaces and the gesture option.
