Elden Ring has its first Speedrun under an hour

It is not even two weeks ago since Elden Ring has been released for the world, and its Speedrunning community has already found creative ways to finish the monolithic game in a fraction of its over 50 hours. Yesterday we shared the incredible two-a-half hourly deadline run of "Niko Bellic". Today, an experienced Souls runner has posted the world's first Any% run under an hour.

"Lilaggy" is a name that most in the Speedrunning scene of Soulsborne will know. The runner is best for his runs in Sekiro: Shadows known the Twice after he has set up world records in several categories - he even vacated with connected eyes, because it is obviously not enough flex to be the best of the world.

Elden Ring Any% Speedrun in 59:38 (WORLD FIRST SUB HOUR RUN)

Now Lilaggy is back, and today, after a 14-hour stream, the crazy managed to clear the latest and best of from software in just 59 minutes and 38 seconds. Lilaggy route is certainly interesting as it contains all sorts of ridiculous jumps to remove whole chunks of the wild out of its way.

You can look at the moment in which Lilaggy defeated the last boss of the game here. Be warned, there are big spoilers.

Lilaggy's last showdown With the last Elden Ring Boss was a nerve-wracking affair. On the way to the second phase, the runner had no health bottles anymore. With only remaining health and a dream he rushed to his opponent. At some point Lilaggy suffered a heavy blow, which left him only a touch of health. He insisted, however, and finally took his prey down.

With the world's first (at least recorded) support without Elden Ring under Lilaggy Belt, it can only be a matter of time until the runner crude is broken. If you know the Speedrunning community, it could be beaten very well in the coming hours.
