Issue annual awards Golden ComicBook.com Awards are here and, for the third consecutive year, we have extended the awards to the games. In the modern era, there is a bad year for video games. There are levels of greatness, but gone are the days of yore, where weeks and weeks could pass without a painfully new and compelling to play. While 2021 may not be remembered as a huge year for games, it has a lot of great games.

In the like 2020, 2021 was a year of uncertainty. Moreover, as in 2020, no one could buy the new consoles PlayStation and Xbox next generation. Sometimes even the Nintendo Switch was difficult to buy, and you had to be willing to lose both arms and legs to keep your hands on the latest PC innards. Synchronously, the games were difficult to buy because they kept falling behind. From start to finish, 2021 earned its reputation as the Year of delays.

The last time PlayStation and Xbox hardware released the following year was considered a slow year defined by cross generations launches that reflect an industry in transition. 2021 was basically 2014 Part II in this regard. Despite this, we found many great games to play and get excited this year.
